When one of the original CALM assessors, Neil Henderson, sent Hamish McFarlane some newspaper cuttings from 1991, it sparked a deep dive into Te Mania Angus’ long-standing history with CALM—now known as AuctionsPlus.
The Stock & Land ads from the time featured the Victorian CALM team, sale listings, and even a promotion for our 1992 autumn sale. More than 30 years later, AuctionsPlus remains a key part of how we connect our genetics with breeders across the country.
In a recent interview, Hamish reflects on our long-standing history and shares insights into our 2025 Autumn Bull Sale.
