Fertility, high growth and sound conformation are the three goals behind the Wave Hills breeding program.

Ian and Pam Robertson run a herd of 400 cows, split between an autumn and spring calving.

They aim to produce feedlot steers weighing up to 500kg in 18 months.

Since joining in 2004, Team membership has given Ian a cost effctive way of accessing superior gentics through bull leasing.

The Team also provides a forum where similar minded people can get together to gain knowledge and know-how of the best practice systems in breeding cattle.

“It is the difference between being part of a Team and doing it alone,” Ian says.
