Manna Ridge is located between Inverloch and Wonthaggi, in Gippsland, Victoria.

Ross and Wendy Horner joined Team Te Mania in 1998 and have set out to breed quality steers and females.

The 230 cow autumn calving herd is artificially inseminated to Te Mania Angus sires, then followed up with lease bulls. The bloodlines are selected with an emphasis on balanced carcass and fertility traits.

The Horners’ target market for steers is the Long Fed Japanese B3 market.

A high proportion of heifers are kept as replacements, with surplus females sold PTIC as five and six year olds.

Being part of Team Te Mania has given Ross and Wendy access to a group of progressive, like minded producers with marketing power.
