Producing quality cattle which give a high return per hectare is the aim of the breeding program at Glencoe.

The Baillie family run 300 breeders in the herd which is split for both autumn and spring calving.

Steers from Glencoe are sold to feedlots and a high proportion of heifers are put back into the herd each year as part of a herd building program.

Membership of Team Te mania has given the Baillies access to proven genetics and the opportunity to share ideas with like minded beef producers who are willing to work together to produce quality cattle.
