The entire Te Mania Angus herd is now located at Mortlake. Which means our visitors will be able to see sires, sale teams, and females at the one location. There is also the opportunity to purchase some of the breed’s most cutting-edge females offering elite performance to fast-track the genetic profile of herds.
The Te Mania Angus female herd contains 900 stud females and 650 recipients. All females are run in large mobs, which act as filters to ensure any animals not able to exist under commercial environments are culled. While Te Mania Angus continues to be a pioneer of the Angus breed, it still remains committed to producing cattle bred with structure for the paddock, the feedlot and/or saleyard.
Come and meet the Te Mania Angus team, hear about the herd, bull leasing and breeding program and see a successful cell grazing operation property. Discuss breeding opportunities, donor cows and sale females, and see one of Australia's largest Angus intensive breeding operations.
